Meet Dr. Amey-Gonzalez
DVM
Dr. Amey-Gonzalez graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2025. Although she spent most of her childhood in the Pacific Northwest, her heart has always been in the Northeast, and she’s excited to begin her veterinary journey and build a new community in Rochester!
She has a special interest in cardiology, fish medicine, and surgery, but is energized by all areas of veterinary care. During her undergraduate years, she also earned a minor in Japanese language and has had the opportunity to gain valuable veterinary experience abroad. Dr. Amey-Gonzalez is especially looking forward to the mentorship at Coldwater, where she hopes to grow as a clinician and provide compassionate, high-quality care to pets and their families, no matter their background.
When she’s not caring for animals, you can find her playing video games, practicing martial arts, learning new languages, or planning her next travel adventure. She also loves spending time with her cat, Milk Dud, and her husband, Ruben.
